The Wolven Path is a re-birth of an ancient Celtic/Druidic form of Shamanism, probably descended from North European traditions. The lineage and history of the Tradition is lost in the mists of history.
The Shamanic Tradition follows the qualities and character of the wolf and incorporates those into a Spirit and Earth driven way of life and relationship.
The Wolven Path tradition is one foremost of community, clan and family; where all interactions are based upon the interactions within a family or pack.
The wolf is the perfect parent; it cares for its young to its own death. The wolf values infancy and see the potential of all young as a blessing for the future not just of its own species but children as a promise for the future of all species. The wolf parent embodies the Twelfth Law of Shamanism “Children, the young and the new, must not be harmed for the continuity of life and the promise of the future is through children.”

The People of the Wolf made an agreement with the Great Spirit, to hold the Sacred Teachings and Memories of Astral ancestry for the People of Humankind.
The Wolf becomes the embodiment of the Great Spirit’s guidance and presence and is the Holder of the Sacred Wisdom.

The Wolf is the Silent Teacher, which leads to the truth, even when the path to that truth is strewn with pain and hardship. The Silent Teacher will not abandon its pupils. It is in the silence that we are not deaf to the Spirit and in the stillness we will learn the steps to the Sacred Dance

The Wolf is the Psychopompus of the newly dead, leading the souls to be washed by them in the Sacred River. This washing eradicates all stain of mundane life; the wolf carries the lighter soul to its Spirit and thus to its ancestral home.
The Wolf is the Bone Collector, who gathers all the bones of the children of the earth and returns them to the Cradle of the sacred Mother.
The Wolf is the Pathfinder; leading us to and by the ways that serve us best, that keep us safe.
The Wolf is the Shadow Seer and has the ability and duty to walk into the realm of shadows to retrieve the lost.
The Wolf is the Moon Walker, that finds its steps along the edge of day and night, light and dark, having the ability to live in both.
The Wolf is the Sun Warrior, never afraid to fight the necessary battle and to be seen in both its power and its vulnerability.
The Wolf is the Joy Maker, who feeds and nurtures with generosity and sacrifice, whilst revelling in the magic of life.
The Shamanic Practitioners, Shaman and Followers of the Wolven Path Tradition, incorporate to the best of their ability these virtues in their practice, life and service.
The Tradition holds to the concept of the Creator Spirit, which imbues the world with wisdom and love. That Spirit emanates Soul to manifest incarnate form and that all incarnate form is related by this original commonality.

The Initiated of the Wolven Path holds in honour and respect both, self reverence;  related to the sacrifice of continuous and selfless journey, of learning and shamanic service to the Sacred Earth and Her children; and of a focused visible reverence for the Sacred Journey of all our relations not matter how they or their journeys  manifest.
The Initiated of the Wolven Path learns in order to share and teach; to proclaim the Shamanic way of living in harmony with our ancestral home, each other and all our relations.
The Initiated of the Wolven Path is the Wolf Leader that holds its pack in safety and the promise of the journey home.
The Wolf is also the Lone Mystic who hears the call that at times no one will hear.

Requirements for Intiation Into The Wolven Path

To have undergone appropriate learning and guidance from Shamanic Teacher(s) and to have been affirmed or declared by the same as proficient in the Sacred Role of Shaman, and as such have acquired the following knowledge:

  1. Understanding and appreciating the guidance and holding of and by the Sacred Laws and Principles; their place in binding us to common accord and providing a safe environment for the lamenter
  2. To understand, appreciate and be skilled in working with and where appropriate in all spiritual realms. Other Realms defined as the Five Worlds and Levels of Consciousness:

    Underworld – Unconsciousness
    Lower World – Sub-consciousness
    Middle World – Ego-consciousness
    Upper World – Higher Consciousness
    Celestial World – Divine Consciousness

  3. To o have received training and validated experience in the ability to perform shamanic diagnosis/divination
  4. To have received training and validated experience in guardian spirit retrieval.
  5. To have received training and validated experience in shamanic extraction methods.
  6. To have received training and validated experience in shamanic retrieval of fractured, separated, exiled and lost Souls, both indwelling and outdwelling
  7. To have experienced spiritual dismemberment and re-memberment.
  8. To have received training and validated experience and appreciate voluntary spirit possession/embodiment by Tutelary spirits for purposes of performing healing work.
  9. To have received training and validated experience in de-possession and ‘exorcism’ healing
  10. To have received training and validated experience in psycho-pomp and soul ushering
  11. To have received training and validated experience in de-armouring
  12. To have received training and validated experience in working with the Lamenter whose spirits you are attending and healing. This includes treating this person uniquely with respect and reverence, respecting their personal  spiritual journeys, creating a safe and sacred space, keeping clear personal/professional boundaries, ensuring good communication skills including the use of non-judgemental language, and honouring this person's present reality.
  13. To be able to develop treatment and follow-up plans/strategies and to be able to discern pre-Psychological intervention and medications.
  14. To be able to appropriately, reverently and safely, create, hold and close sacred space, ceremony and ritual.
  15. To have understood the sanctity of sacramental ceremony across diverse cultures
  16. To have ‘battled’ with personal internal darkness and light.
  17. To appreciate and be able to offer guidance for effective interdisciplinary coordination.
  18. To maintain and hold sacred the confidentiality of clients
  19. To be professionally accountable through regular personal Shamanic Intervention by an appropriately trained Shaman or Shamanic Practitioner.
  20. To pursue and maintain personal, spiritual and professional development.
  21. To have been in safe practice for a minimum of three years
  22. To understand and hold to the Tradition of the Wolven Path, its calling, duties, and responsibilities.
